Overseeing a large-scale renovation project on a stunning residential property in Surrey.
The key principle behind the build was to make better use of the layout of the property and make it a more modern and luxurious home. This involved constructing new ceilings and new cabling throughout the house, full plastering and redecoration, removal and re-erection of larger windows, internal doorways and doors. The existing staircase also needed revamping, plus we created a new powder room and bathrooms, new flooring, fireplace and bespoke cabinetry.
Despite the scale of the project, the family were still living in the home while it was being completely renovated. But even before the busy school run, we managed to keep the project going efficiently!
Fun fact:
The weather did its best to make things difficult: we had to install an 8ft x 7ft sheet of black glass in a heavy storm without it breaking!
